Is Yoga Anti-Aging?

I THOUGHT I KNEW QUITE A LOT ABOUT YOGA, after practicing for nearly 10 years.

But when I was introduced to the Five Tibetan Rites of Rejuvenation, I knew I had found a hidden treasure.

I started doing them every day, and if I was busy, then at least once a week.

I decided to feature the Tibetan Rites as an integral part of my Rejuvenate class at Fire Within Yoga.

They are rhythmic flow-based movements done with breath, and awareness.  Each Rite stimulates the glands, hormonal system, and the fluid that bathes the spine.  Afterward, we have time for deep inward focus and relaxation.  You’ll walk out of this class with enhanced vitality to bring to your day.

These Rites may be anti-aging, due to their cleansing and detoxing effects, and their effect on the pituitary gland, the master gland of the body.  We want a resilient spine and sustained agility for many many more years, and this is my number one routine that I do on my own, or as part of a class.
